After selecting the Hawaiian Hybrid, I proceeded to “checkout” and quickly got a confirmation and electronic receipt of my purchse. Just a couple of days later I received the package. My first impression of the Herbal Smoke Shop company was how discreet and professional they were when it came to shipping and delivery. My order came on time and nothing external suggested what its content were. As I opened it, I was impressed by the volume of Hawaiian Hybrid there was, packed in a nice thick ½ ounce bag. The bag was full of big fresh and fluffy buds. In this state, it released just the vaguest tea-like aroma.

Effects: I sat back, pulled out my pipe and loaded it with buds. The Hawaiian Hybrid burned well making an occasional rattling noise. The process of smoking itself was very relaxing. I found it very easy and casual to inhale – the hybrid’s texture wasn’t as rough as marijuana. As I finished my first bowl, I felt a slight numbness on both sides of my forehead. After another one my hearing became more acute. My limbs got tingly and my body felt relaxed and pleasant. I stretched out my legs, laid back and chilled. It definitely was not an euphoric marijuana high but I somewhat enjoyed its exotic taste and unique relaxation effects.

Pros: Enjoyable, relaxing herb, burns well and is easy to smoke

Cons: It's not very strong so it will feel rough on your throat when you smoke it excessively; not for the closed-minded

Overall: This is a mild exotic herb you can smoke casually and chill. Don’t try Hawaiian Hybrid with the expectation that it's supposed is to replace your marijuana stash. It’s an alternative that feels differently and should be approached differently.
